Everest 2022 Summit Bid
In 2016 Les financed his own summit attempt of Mt Everest. He stopped 500m short of the summit to rescue a dying climber (Sunita Hazra) who was suffering from Cerebral & Pulmonary Oedema & Frostbite. He also tried to save the life of another climber (Subash Paul) but sadly he later died. In 2017 he returned to Everest to try again and raised in excess of £35,000 for ABF the soldiers charity. However this attempt was thwarted by some of the most horrendous weather. Les was also involved in the rescue of a team mate Now Les is going to try and achieve his life goal of summiting the worlds highest mountain in 2022. Les is looking for a commercial sponsor. If you are interested in becoming part of this exciting opportunity then please get in touch. Many thanks.

Les's experiences were both fascinating and inspirational in themselves but on top of that his delivery was honest, eloquent and engaging. I could have carried on listening for hours,

I thought that Les was an amazing speaker. He was natural, honest and hugely engaging. It felt like a one on one conversation rather than a talk to a full auditorium.
